How Does Sedation Dentistry Work?
You will be given a small pill to take an hour prior to your dental
appointment. You will need someone to accompany you to the office.
By the time you arrive at our office for your appointment, you will
already be very drowsy.
When you arrive, you will be escorted into the comfort room, covered with
a thick, warm blanket and placed on a special monitor to watch your vital
signs. After you are comfortable, Dr. Portale and the highly experienced
clinical team at Portale Dental will take care of your dental needs.
Once your treatment is complete, you will need a ride home (you will be
very drowsy and unable to drive). Your dental work will be complete, and
you can spend the rest of the day relaxing at home, with little or no
memory of your visit!
